Macramé + Ceramics Workshop w/ Wine & Treats  | 4th + 23rd November 2024 | Berlin

Join us for an immersive 2-part workshop where you’ll explore two ancient crafts — macramé knotting and ceramics — and combine them to create a unique piece for your interior space! Each session will be accompanied by wine from our friends Sicula (Mon, 4th Nov) or tea, coffee, and baked treats (Sat, 23rd Nov).

In the first session, you’ll hand-build your own ceramic pieces, guided by artist and Clayground owner Tiziana Schembri. You’ll complete the session by choosing from three different glazes, which will be applied to your pieces before they’re fired and ready for the second part of the workshop. In the second session, artist and California Dreaming founder Dörte Bundt will guide you step by step in crafting your own macramé wall hanging or plant hanger. Dörte will help you work at your own pace, incorporating tricks and tips on implementing your ceramic elements in the perfect places. By the end, you’ll leave with a beautifully finished wall hanging or plant hanger, ready to hang.

The workshop will be conducted in English (the macramé course in both German and English). No previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome! With only 12 spots available, the atmosphere will be relaxed and intimate.
