Macramé + Weaving: Knot and weave your own large tapestry

Macrame and weaving are not only beautiful crafts that offer endless creative possibilities, but they also bring a sense of calm to our hectic daily lives.

In this 2-day long workshop, you'll be introduced to both techniques. We'll guide you step by step, at your own pace, as you create your own macraweave wall hanging: In the first part of the workshop, we'll create the basic structure of the wall hanging using various macrame knots. In the second part, you can choose from a variety of wool and selected yarns and fibres to add your personal touch to your piece using different weaving techniques.

This course is held in German and English. No previous knowledge is required, everyone is welcome. The limited number of 10 places ensures a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Your instructor, Dörte, is a Berlin-based fiber artist and the founder of California Dreaming. With nearly a decade of experience, she is excited to share her knowledge and passion for fiber arts with you.
