Weaving Course for Beginners: Weave a Small Tapestry

Level: Beginner + Intermediate (no knowledge required)

This workshop is an offer for all who want to learn how weaving works on a larger weaving frame.

In this 5-hour (2 x 2,5 hrs) workshop, you will learn all the steps of weaving, from applying the warp yarn to cleaning and hanging the finished work. 

In addition to plain weaving, techniques such as Tabby, Soumak, and Rya Knots will give your creation extra texture and 3D effect. A selection of high quality natural yarns and wool are included in the course. Optionally, you can bring your own yarns or fabric scraps that you want to weave into your work.

The course is divided into two evenings, Tue, 25. April + Thu, 27. April , 2023 18:30 - 21:00 each.
