Solstice is a modern textile hybrid created with knotted woven and knotted techniques. This densely knotted wall hanging was created from thousands of individual clove hitch knots, and centrally adorned with a large sun symbol created using merino wool and carrizo plant fiber. The result is a modern, minimalist tapestry.
